Dear bluewhaleshop users:
{{ variable.name }}
Fructivia azuki beans are often eaten cooked in a mixture with rice. Azuki is a small oval bean of red to dark red color, mainly consumed for its high protein content. Bean preferred by the Japanese, its culture and its use in baking require vigilance and thoroughness. It is one of the tastiest red bean species. It is recommended to cook like dry beans: cook 1 volume of beans in 3 volumes of water for about 1 hour. Accommodate to taste. Azuki is often eaten cooked in a mixture with rice. They can also be taken with cereals, vegetables, in salads, in soups, mashed potatoes, as a dessert. In Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisines, azuki beans are almost always eaten sweet, boiled with sugar, eaten as or kneaded to make a more or less consistent dough. They are also commonly eaten as sprouted seeds, or infused in hot water.
